K. Dakshina Murthy joined the Centre for Good Governance (CGG) in September 2024 as Director, eGovernance Division, bringing over 20 years of diverse experience within the Civil Engineering sector covering a strong foundation in fieldwork, IT applications, teaching, and 12 years of specialization in eGovernance solutions.
He holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, and an M.Tech in Transportation Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay—two of India’s leading educational institutions.
At CGG, K. Dakshina Murthy plays a key role in overseeing and managing eGovernance applications across departments, including the Election Commission, Beneficiary Management Systems for Welfare Departments. His efforts focus on enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public service delivery through innovative technology solutions.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, he has published two research papers and has received four notable awards. He has also completed the Andhra Pradesh Chief Information Officer (APCIO) Program at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), further honing his expertise in governance and technology integration.
